Working in the Field in Eastern Sierra

I had a very full day of work today in my Mercedes Sprinter photography adventure van; see the previous 4 or 5 posts. I got up at 5 AM and did some shooting, then got to work. Thanks to a 10 kilowatt battery system, I can work for days without any charging.

Weather at 10,000' is very pleasant, but I am glad I insulated the Sprinter because the sun heats things up (Reflectix @AMAZON works great, doubled and tripled in the roof and some other places).

Snow level looks about average this year, maybe a little low.

Last year was far more interesting and with huge amounts of snowmelt.

I do all my work in my Mercedes Sprinter photography adventure van, with its 10 kilowatt battery system and 48 X 29 X 1.5-inch hickory table.

Tioga Pass Resort is being repaired and I hear it will reopen in 2019. Its roof was crushed by the heavy snow load in the winter of 2016/2017 along with a great deal of other damage.
