Hasselblad X1D + Hasselblad XCD 21mm f/4 Aperture Series: Sawdust Under Rotting Tree

See my Hasselblad medium format wish list.

This series looks at medium-range near-to-far performance with the Hasselblad XCD 21mm f/4 in very blue mountain light.

Also noted is secondary color performance, in particular on the bright sky areas.

Hasselblad XCD 21mm f/4 Aperture Series: Sawdust Under Rotting Tree

Includes images up to full camera resolution from f/4 through f/11.

I thought this scene was interesting in showing all the sawdust—it falls out of the tree from termites or whatever—I suppose a bear will rip that log open for some tasty protein at some point. I like to shoot such interesting things regardless of lighting—just observational and knowing the land and its fine points.
