60mm f/4 UV-VIS-IR APO macro

I was intrigued by the flawless correction for secondary color of the Coastal Optics 60mm f/4 UV-VIS-IR APO-Macro in Nikon Z7 Captures Incredible 45-Megapixels of Chromatically Perfect Detail with Coastal Optics 60mm f/4 UV-VIS-IR APO-Macro.

Accordingly, I elected to show a number of other series, all shot one evening under challenging blue mountain light.

The outstanding high-res EVF of the Nikon Z7 is just the perfect fit for the the Coastal 60/4, which has never been easy to focus due to its f/4 aperture and not very good focus throw. The increased resolution now makes it easier to discriminate important nuances of focus that were quite difficult on the Nikon D850 and predecessors.
