Includes images up to full camera resolution from f/1.2 through f/8.
There is a good reason that the Canon RF 50mm f/1.2L USM costs about $2229—it’s worth it! This is the finest f/1.2 lens I have ever used. Leica never produced a Leica M lens that could touch this f/1.2 performance (though I have yet to see the Leica 75mm f/1.25 APO-Summicron-M ASPH).
What a pity Canon is stuck at 30 megapixels with the Canon EOS R—and that Nikon has only consumer-grade lenses to offer so far for the Nikon Z7.
If this f/1.2 image doesn’t look amazing to you, see your ophthalmologist.
