In for review on the Nikon D850 is the Sigma 28mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art. It is not yet available for mirrorless as I write this, so the Nikon D850 will be used and be native mount. I also have the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG OSM Sports. Both lenses are relatively large and heavy.
The significant drawbacks I see with Sigma DG HSM Art lenses are size and weight, since otherwise being very high performers and very reasonably priced there is nothing to complain about. See Reader Comments: Size/Weight of Sigma DG HSM Art Lenses.
Still the Sigma 28mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art is smaller and lighter than the massive Zeiss Otus 28mm f/1.4 APO-Distagon. In the hands, it is very solidly built but still substantially friendlier to carry around than the Otus, though significantly beefier than the Nikon AF-S 28mm f/1.4E ED.
In the hands, the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG OSM Sports is a very solidly built lens, impressively so, but carrying it around is not something I look forward to.
