With a camera having 3.7 micron pixels, the precision and accuracy required for focus are greater than every full-frame 35mm camera ever made (as of August 2019) excepting the Sony A7R IV (released in Sept 2019).

The GFX100 is definitely not up to the task. I discuss a variety of troubling autofocus errors with the Fujifilm GFX100.
