Sigma 14-24mm F/2.8 DG DN Art gets an A+ for the Best Size/Weight/Haptics I’ve Seen for a Zoom of this Range

I am very favorably impressed with the form factor, both size and weight, along with exceptional haptics. Very quickly, I was thinking “I have to buy this lens”! It’s the most appealing zoom lens of its range I have ever handled. The pictures do not do it justice as to how nicely it matches up with the Sony A7R III.
As to optical performance and setting aside distortion, it looks very promising—could this be the best 14-24mm ever, in a form factor that is best ever? I don’t know yet, but I wish the Sony A7R IV were here (9 days off still, according to B&H web site).
