Voigtlander 50mm f/2 APO-Lanthar Aperture Series: White Aspen Trunks (Sony A7R IV)
My Sony A7R IV is back from Sony, with the entire sensor/shutter assembly replaced—this for a brand-new camera. But kudos so Sony Professional Services for taking of it. I still have to verify the fix fix in the field at distance.
These series from f/2 through f/8 shows the spectacular total optical correction of the Voigtlander 50mm f/2 APO-Lanthar.

I advise anyone seeking an outstanding lens to read my new “OMG” comments on the summary page for the Voigtlander 50mm f/2 APO-Lanthar. In summary: the Voigtlander 50/2 APO is a diamond among quartzite crystals. Not only does it rank among the finest lenses for 35mm cameras ever produced, at about $1049 it is grossly underpriced for what it delivers, which is a lot more than just superb optical quality.
