This page looks at animal Eye AF of the Sony A1 with Tigger on the prowl in the spring greenery using the Sony FE 600mm f/4 GM OSS on a tripod, but also with optical image stabilization enabled. Some shots also shown using the 1.4X teleconverter for an 840mm f/5.6 reach, and some are rendered in both color and monochrome.

If you can afford it, get the Sony FE 600mm f/4 GM OSS. Impeccable image quality. But the tele zooms are excellent too.
