Canon EOS R5 and Canon RF Lenses
I’m thinking to take up the 45-megapixel Canon EOS R5 and several Canon RF lenses soon. The EOS R5 has an anti-aliasing filter but maybe that won’t degrade its landscape capabilities much or at all.
The not-yet-released Canon EOS R3 is reputed to be an sports-oriented camera. I have no interest in a 24MP camera vs a 45MP one, and I’m not sure why anyone exceptd a dedicated sports photographer would consider 24MP instead of a 45/50MP camera.
Canon now has a robust lens line. The key lenses that I have not reviewed are shown below and if my loaner budget allows, I’d like to cover at least the "L" lenses.
However, the Canon RF 15-35mm f/2.8L IS USM remains hard to get, but it is a crucial comparison to the Canon RF 14-35mm f/4L IS USM. I don’t want to proceed until I can get both together for comparison purposes. But several of the other L zooms are also constrained. So it’s a real problem to test this stuff unless the supply gets there.
