It wasn’t may plan to spend much time on the Canon RF 35 mm f/1.8 Macro STM, but I had wanted to use it as a comparison lens against the Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8L. That proved problematic, and it’s worth showing why in this seres on the 46-megapixel Canon EOS R5.
This series from f/1.8 to f/11 evaluates the Canon RF 35 mm f/1.8 Macro STM at medium distance on the 46-megapixel Canon EOS R5. It confirms the focus shift findings seen two years prior on the Canon EOS R, as shown in the other series, and also speaks to field curvature.
