Reader Question: Warm Winter Boots?

I’ve decided I have to get out in the snow this winter and walk. Do you have any recommended boots that are above ankle high, light, Goretex (or similar) and warm?
DIGLLOYD: the Baffin Snow Monster @AMAZON have served me well down to 0°F for some years now. My feet never get cold in them, even standing around photographing, and I am sure they could go well below zero. They are a little bulky compared to a hiking boot, but that is unavoidable if you want the volume that makes for warm feet.
Thanks for using my Amazon link, should you buy a pair.
