Reader Comment: Nanuk Cases

I saw B&H Photo is having a nice 25% off sale in Nanuk cases, and I bought one of these:
I also bought a couple of accessories:, this and this.
I bought one of these as a storage case as well:
This is also an interesting model that can also be checked in as luggage. Probably OK to use domestically within the US, but I would not fly with it to many countries where theft by airport staff is a risk. But this case could be great if you’re doing a road trip and want to bring a lot of stuff.
If you aren’t familiar with Nanuk, it is a Canadian company that makes cases similar to Pelican, but with better designs and better configurations. They make these boxes in a huge range of sizes. Some sizes have wheels and others do not. All of them are offered in three configurations for the lower part of the case: padded dividers, configurable foam cubes, and pre-cut foam for specific gear. They offer the two options for the top, one just a sheet of convoluted foam, the other a form-fitted lid organizer. All models are also available completely empty (just shell).
DIGLLOYD: I also have severa Nanuk cases—excellent.
