Camera Profiles for E-M1 in ACR / Lightroom

The Adobe Camera Raw engine is shared by both Adobe Photoshop CC and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, so the ideas here apply equally to both. Certain other raw converters also offer camera profile variants.

When converting using Adobe Camera Raw, the choice of camera profile can exert a large influence on color and contrast. The variances in color saturation and tonal relationships are a handy way to push the image in the preferred direction right off the bat, without tweaking controls.

Found under the Camera Calibration area in the Photoshop CC raw conversion dialog, the Camera Profile choice controls the resulting look of the image. The source of these profiles is unclear; Adobe Standard presumably comes from Adobe lab targets, the other presumably from the camera vendor.
