Olympus OM-D E-M1

Examples in Lundy Canyon

Taken with the Olympus OM-D E-M1 and Panasonic Leica 25mm f/1.4 in Lundy Canyon, east of Yosemite, Nov 8 2013.

These giant (by Eastern Sierra standards) Quaking Aspen felt magical in the early morning stillness, and I hope that this feeling comes through in these images in some measure.

I was the only person for miles, with 2-4 people (total) showing up each day around mid-day while I worked this area over the course of 3-4 days (these images all shot one morning). A magical place, and a good one for a photo tour.

The images shown here have been minimally processed except as noted, in order to give a sense of the highly attractive out of the box quality of the E-M1 sensor. No lens corrections were used. However, camera profiles exert a large influence; see the raw conversion page.
