Ricoh GR Introduction
The Ricoh GR offers a razor sharp lens with imaging quality and bokeh that ranks among the best, an outstanding grip and efficient operational behavior.
I felt comfortable using the Ricoh GR immediately. After a month of use, I concluded that it was the best compact camera I had ever used. Still, there are a few things missing that would be terrific improvements:
- A high-res EVF option: built-in is best, but an optional hot-shoe mount would be nice.
- In-body (not lens) image stabilization similar to the Olympus OM-D E-M5.
- Other focal lengths with the same high performance to cover more range (carry two or three cameras).
