This page shows a variety of examples, some single frames and some focus stacked.
The sample of the 12-24mm f/4G used here is a bad sample in consistently having a weak right side, about the rightmost 1/4 of the frame. Still, the overall look and feel show the potential that a good copy of this lens might have, that is, one with symmetry across the frame.
Many of the images used contrast control to tame bright sky or dark shadow areas. I consider the Sony A7R II to be fairly marginal and brittle for such adjustments, but it has done reasonably well in the most demanding scenes at dusk.
