Sony A7R II
Sony FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM

Aperture Series @43mm: Rising Redwoods

This landscape scene at moderate distance puts a premium on depth of field, with a lot of detail near and far. And yet too much depth of field is not necessarily a plus, so how sharply and with what kind of foreground and background separation and bokeh does the 24-70/2.8 GM render the scene at 43mm?

An extremely bright sky along with deep shade puts a premium on flare control as well.
