The about $3198 Sony A7R II is a winner. I have no hesitation in recommending it to the vast majority of shooters.

Some advances really matter: those that eliminate or greatly mitigate longstanding technical challenges that reduce the hit rate. Autofocus accuracy is one such advance, and the A7R II has autofocus nailed.
