A 50mm lens delivers a relatively normal perspective with a more intimate feel as well as a narrower field of view; this seemed appropriate for this late October medley of colors and textures.

ACR 8.7.1 (311): ACR settings, Camera Profile = Camera Portrait. Some contrast applied (black point) and diffraction mitigation sharpening used at f/8 - f/11 - f/13.

This “deep 3D” scene with its wonderful backlighting and fill-lighting caught my eye. A very satisfying rich image develops with some stopping down for depth of field, noting that all 50mm f/1.4 designs have field curvature that disfavors the mid-zones in the background.
