These examples were shot on the 36-megapixel Sony A7R full-frame mode, then cropped to 5200 X 4160, a 4 X 3 aspect ratio delivering 20.8 megapixels.
Bench
The camera is right on top of the bench; this is a very wide angle of view.
Stopped down as here, very good sharpness extends near to far. While there are weak areas, these would be found in a full frame lens to a similar degree.
Color rendition across the frame as well as illumination is nicely consistent.
