Examples — Nature

Examples here were shot at a variety of ISOs, mostly with Zeiss lenses, to show off the maximum potential of the 1D Mark IV. Seem comments on individual images.

Unless otherwise noted, examples are processed straight from DPP with little or no post-processing, in order to show the image quality as produced from the camera.

Color rendition

My expectations for color balance were not what I’m used to; choosing Daylight for white balance tended to result in very warm white balance. I don’t yet understand this behavior except that perhaps the 1DM4 sensor is more responsive than previous sensors, especially to the Zeiss lenses, which tend to have a pleasingly warm color balance.
