White Balance and Tint for Raw Conversion in Adobe Camera Raw, Overcast Cloudy Lighting
Each camera and sensor has its own color quirks. Some have non-linearities. The most basic thing one can do for good color is to set white balance and tint, based on settings against a known target*.
Here the proper white balance and tint for Adobe Camera Raw in overcast daylight are established for the Canon 5DS R using the Zeiss 50mm f/2 Makro-Planar.

The Datacolor SpyderChecker target was angled straight up and placed well away from foliage in an open area (greenery can often throw green into the lighting and it can be tricky getting good “clean” lighting in some areas). The in-focus target was photographed at f/6.3 in the center of the frame, and using half the frame.
