Aperture Series: View Down to Conness Creek Drainage (Nikon D850)
This aperture series from f/1.4 through f/9 shows overall performance along with a right bottom corner weakness observed repeatedly in other outdoor distance scenes. It’s the kind of thing that drives me nuts when the camera itself is in question including a second sample. I never had such problems with my rock-solid Nikon D810.
However, several other moderate telephoto lenses (Sigma 85/1.4A and Sigma 135/1.8A) did not show this distinctive bottom right corner blur issue, so it looks like a “bad sample”, albeit one that cleans up nicely when stopped down.
