Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8G ED

Compared: Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8G vs Nikon 14mm f/2.8: Ancient Bristlecone

Exposure

Exposure was identical between lenses. The 14/2.8 produces a darker image as it does in the road comparison. The 14-24 zoom is effectively a brighter lens at the same aperture, about 1/2 stop faster (T-stop) according to what I found with exposure compensation.

Processing

Nikon Capture NX2 at Standard, followed by Photoshop Smart Sharpen {100, 0.2, 0}. Both images processed identically.
