Examples: Skyline Snow
These examples were taken during a rare December snowstorm (rare in the San Francisco bay area). I had about an hour before a dentist appointment, and before the sun quickly melted the snow.
RAW file processing
Nikon Capture NX2 version 2.2.3. Color aberration correction was disabled so as to show the true lens performance, since many shooters might use RAW converters that do not correct color fringing.
All noise reduction off.
White balance for most examples was “Daylight”, usually 5300°K, leaving a cool white balance for most images shown here (deliberately). Some “levels” adjustments might have been made for some images.
