Lens choice

The Zeiss 25mm f/2 Distagon has few peers for its high micro contrast and resolving power in the central 2/3 of the frame; outside that area field curvature is increasingly a factor (as with every wide angle lens). But within the central area, the 25/2 delivers as exceptional a micro contrast as one can possibly hope for from any lens.
