Nikon D810

Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8

@15mm vs Nikon 14-24/2.8G: Pescadero Creek Rushing Water (Nikon D810)

The preceding 15mm comparison used dual focusing positions for the Nikon 14-24m to show the focus shift and partial mitigation by focus.

This comparison at 24mm takes the same approach that any photographer would use in the field—focus at f/2.8 at the same position for both lenses and see what each lens delivers. This of course is always the case when using autofocus (Live View was used here at 10X for focusing).

Because of focus shift and field curvature (both), the image as a whole should be assessed.
