Noise and ISO: Leica M Typ 240 vs Leica M9P
This page evaluates noise performance across the whole stop ISO range for the 24-megapixel CMOS Leica M240 and 18-megapixel CCD Leica M9P.
The Leica 50mm f/2 APO-Summicron-M ASPH was used at f/8. Due to different base-plate mounting requirements, there is a very slight perspective change (from height) between the cameras.
