Comparison

Shown below is the test scene shot on the 18-megapixel M9P. The scene was chosen for its near/far subject matter arranged with both closeup and distance material at the edges/corners, as well as the fine detail on the water tank and bush.

The lighting was changing rapidly here (at dusk), with the 21/1.4 given +1/3 stop more exposure in processing. But for our purposes here, the difference has no material effect on sharpness.
