When the Leica M9 first appeared in 2009, I concluded then that the 35mm f/2 Summicron was not all that great a performer.

After nearly three years, I felt it was time to repeat some comparisons with the 35/2 Summicron, along with the latest 35/1.4 Summilux and the still impressive Zeiss 35/2 Biogon.
