Leica 50mm f/0.95 Noctilux-M

Examples: 50/0.95 Noctilux (Wide Aperture Landscapes)

Except as noted, images shot at f/0.95 with a 3-stop neutral density filter.

Note on Leica M9

See the Guide and Review of the Leica M9. The Leica M9 must guess at the aperture used since there is no information sent to the camera. With a 3-stop ND filter, it typically guesses f/3.4 or so (instead of f/0.95), so the EXIF info for aperture is always way off. These images were all shot wide open, so no guessing was involved here.

Processing

Images minimally processed, showing results out of the camera.
