Late 2013 sample. Like the previous sample, it has a left/right skew in which (at the far edges) focus is closer on the right than the left. This can be seen in this example, but it happens to work out very well for the subject matter.
Bleached bristlecone logs at blue dusk
At late dusk these logs seemed to almost glow blue in the blue twilight high in the White Mountains. Processing the images was a challenge; the blue has been partially neutralized, but the image simply did not look right with the blue fully neutralized; as shown the image accurately portrays my mind’s eye recollection of the scene.
