Skewed Plane of Focus
June 2013 lens sample, which suffered from poor flare control.
With a variety of shots, I had noticed an odd plane of sharpness that appeared to cut from the distance at left towards the foreground at right.
Seeing this with only one or two images, I chalked it up to a visual misunderstanding of subject distance, albeit with an uneasy feeling. But too many images cropped up with this effect to dismiss. Of course, aperture f/2 shows it most clearly, so that many images made stopped down mask the effect also.
