Leica M240
Leica M10

M10 vs M240 ISO Series from 100 to 6400: Dolls

Firmware version 1.9.4.0.

This ISO series from ISO 100 to ISO 6400 with both the M10 and the M240 assesses and compares the relative noise from each camera.

Includes image at full resolution (albeit cropped to 4K wide), from ISO 100 through ISO 6400 for both cameras. ALSO includes the full series (grayscale) for each of the red and green and blue color channels from the ProPhotoRGB color space as well as a gray gamma 2.2 grayscale series. These series really delves into the notable differences between the two cameras in terms of noise. A few years of sensor advances are worth waiting for.

Black and white shooters may find the color channels useful in seeing just how much better than M10 performs over the M240, in terms of the latitude for high quality black and white conversion.
