Leica M10 Usability

Comments base on firmware 1.3.4.0.

When I evaluate a camera, I evaluate it for my own working style, referring as needed to other usage potentialities which might differ a little. But in no case do I feel it worthwhile to rationalize or excuse design choices that are poor for many uses and users.

Accordingly, I express my unequivocal likes and dislikes vis-a-vis how I would use the camera, for that is the only perspective that anyone can stand behind as legitimate—not guesswork at some other imagined usage.

Overall

The 2.4 megapixel EVF for the M10 is a big step up for focusing accuracy and general image quality with the EVF. Other areas are huge steps backward in functionality for my needs.
