Leica 180mm f/2.8 APO-Elmarit-R

Examples: Nikon D4 + 180/2.8 APO-Elmarit-R (Zoo)

This page shows examples with the Nikon D4 using the Leica 180mm f/2.8 APO-Elmarit-R, easily the highest performing ~200mm lens available for Nikon.

I bought my 180/2.8 APO some years ago, and I converted it to Nikon mount using a Leitax lens adapter.

Examples

Aperture unrecorded, but at f/2.8 - f/5.6 for all.

In total, about 2/3 of the shots were well focused, the others off slightly— a better success rate than I expected, but this might be due to bright lighting, which helps with contrast for focusing by eye.
