Vignetting: 180mm f/2.8 APO-Elmarit-R
Vignetting shows in the graph as a just a bit less than one stop, which is very low.
Stopping down to f/5.6 cuts vignetting down to essentially zero for practical purposes.
On a digital sensor ray angle is also a factor. Aperture f/2.8 is slightly dark, with f/4 bringing highly uniform coverage as well as peak contrast.
