This page shows examples with the Leica 280mm f/4 APO-Telyt-R using the Canon 5D Mark III, which can use the 280/4 via a simple mechanical lens adapter.

For accurate color rendition, be sure to view using a colorspace-aware web browser.

The haze here is atmospheric, not caused by the lens. The shots were almost directly into the sun, and the front of the lens has to be fully shaded or a veiling flare will develop (the darkness at upper left is a little too much shading!).
