This near-to-far distance scene with a large flat field portion (the barn) evaluates sharpness across the field and near to far.

Leica SL autofocus proved extremely unreliable in the field. This example is one of those cases: the SL focused about 10 feet / 3 meters in front of the barn, as is plain to see in the full resolution images.
