Like most brands, Fujifilm does a lame job at publishing MTF charts—wide open only, and no description of the spectral balance for the claimed performance, and it looks to be diffraction-ignoring computed fantasy MTF to boot—not measured with a real lens. The fact that Fujifilm does not publish anything but wide open performance is disappointing, and even that is not explicitly stated.
MTF for the Fujifilm GF 110/2 is remarkably similar to MTF for the Fujifilm GF 50/3.5, but a little better in the outer zones in favor of the 110mm.
Overall lens contrast at f/2 for coarse and medium structures over the central 3/4 of the frame is outstanding. Fine structures are also very strong, but there is a substantial rolloff in contrast on all structures from the long edge into the corners, as well as incipient astigmatism. The rolloff is also probably related to some field curvature. Most likley f/4 is the optimal aperture for total sharpness.
