These images made in the Lundy Lake (reservoir) area of the Eastern Sierra. Most were shot handheld with image stabilization.
Sagebrush, pine and aspen slope
This is close enough that depth of field limits the sharpness of the background area; I focused on the bare aspen trees.
The bare aspen trees are razor sharp, but also heavily affected by severe color aliasing—a strong reason to prefer a 100-megapixel sensor in some future camera
