Fujifilm GF 35-70mm f/4.5-5.6 WR

MTF for Fujifilm GF 35-70mm f/4.5-5.6

MTF as supplied by Fujifilm is only for wide-open performance, and presumably computed from optical designs, not measured.

Overall contrast for coarse and medium structures looks excellent in the central 1/2 of the frame, but the level of astigmatism grows rapidly towards the edges—what this bodes for bokeh and performance is uncleear.

Detail rendition (40 lp/mm) looks disappointing outside a small central area, dropping off massively from center to outer zones. It could be poor optical performance in general, but much more likely it is due to a pronounced field curvature, which would make the lens problematic even on a 50MP sensor for uses like landscape and architecture. But it might please ad-hoc shooters in throwing outer zones out of focus more.
