Examples: Astrophotography
These examples shot in the Alabama Hills near Mt Whitney at night using varying shutter speeds.
All exposured used long exposure noise reduction. The moon reduced overall contrast in the sky, but as compensation it delivered detail in the landscape.
Includes images up to full camera resolution and panoramas much larger.

Manual focus was used here in 100% magnified Live View—Fujifilm GFX100 autofocus was useless in the dim light, failing no matter where I tried to focus. I found it difficult to focus at f/4 with a heavy overlay of noise, so I had to shoot at f/8 to be sure of getting across the frame sharpness.
