Last tested with firmware 1.01 for the GFX100 and firmware 1.1 for the lenses (August 2019).

This discussion also applies to the Fujifilm GFX-50R and Fujifilm GFX-50S. Being an apparent electromechanical glitch, this discussion applies to all Fujifilm GF lenses and cameras as of July 2019.

As used here unstable lens focus means any non-optical behavior that changes focus position when nothing should have changed. Thus it excludes optical focus shift.
