Fujifilm GFX100: Dark Frame Pattern Noise

All cameras have noise in the near-black shadows. One way to assess what gremlins might pop up in real-world images is to take a look at the dark frame pattern noise, shot with the lens cap on (no lens) at a high shutter speed.

This page looks at dark from pattern noise at ISO 100, including the individual color channels (ProPhotoRGB color space).

UPDATE April 2021: possibly a firmware update has improved matters (unknown), since the Fujifilm GFX100S shows a really clean result for its dark frame, and it has the same sensor.

The horizontal lines are most likely related to the use of PDAF pixels (phase detection autofocus), showing that everything comes at a cost.
