Dynamic Range: Moonrise Over Lundy Canyon

In general, lack of raw conversion capabilities is the limiting factor with the H6D-100C: Adobe Camera Raw lacks the range in its sliders to accommodate the 15-bit dynamic range of the Hasselblad H6D-100C—see the first example with the moon. It probably ought to have some special controls for such scenarios as with a moon.

Moonrise over Lundy Canyon

I wondered if I could capture the moon and the canyon in a single capture and yet produce a high quality image. The Hasselblad H6D-100C got the job done; while this is not a comparison, I cannot recall ever being able to capture a scene like this while retaining both detail in the moon as well as the nearly black canyon.
