X1D Startup Time, Startup Issues

Camera startup time until a Live View image starts going is 11 seconds. You can’t even get Live View to start working for 11 seconds, so including photographer reaction time wondering when the camera will be ready realistically makes it at least 12-13 seconds.
The X1D is thus guaranteed to miss the shot if the camera is off and there is something happening within 12 seconds or so. This is a major conflict with the appeal of a “walk around” medium format camera.
I consider it a HUGE issue highly relevant to the potential of using the X1D as a walk-around camera, hiking camera, etc. It’s a non-starter for my outdoor usage for that type of thing where I might be out all day. Leaving the camera in standby mode really isn’t appealing for all day hikes.
