Overview of Hasselblad X1D
Kudos to Hasselblad for being first to bring out a mirrorless medium format camera, the about $9000 Hasselblad X1D-50C along the XCD 30/3.5, XCD 45/3.5 and XCD 90/3.2 at launch.
Weighing in at 748 grams with battery, it is a remarkably lightweight camera for medium format. For perspective, the Leica SL weighs 847 grams (+99g).
The grip is comfortable, and the all-metal body is quite impressive in being solid metal: remove the battery and the battery cavity is seen to be solid aluminum.
Image quality is outstanding. There is an 'organic' quality to the pixels that is absolutely absent in something like a Sony A7R II or Canon 5Ds R. The closest thing in medium format is the Nikon D810, which has something better than its competitors.
