Three times within an hour, the 645Z took the image, but failed to record it! No file found on either camera cards. Plenty of battery power and the subsequent image recorded fine.
On a subsequent occasion I shot 4 images in a sequence just after formatting the card. Not one image was stored to card—all lost. This is a scary bug rare to see in a digital camera. Verify that the camera is storing the images (at least after formatting a card). It appears that the camera might glitch into some kind of preview-do-not-store mode just after a card format.
